Daniel was transferred to an ICU in Redwood City a couple of days ago. Soon after he arrived they brought him into surgery to repair the bone around his spinal cord. He has not yet awoken from the surgery.

This morning Sven is going to drive Patti to see Daniel and meet with the doctor. In speaking with Patti over the phone the doctor was talking about their needing a hospital bed and training to take Daniel home. They want 2 family members to be trained, but as of right now there is only Patti. As her friend I am unsure if we should step into that gap or allow the hospital to provide nurses to care for him. We just need God’s wisdom about what our role should be and where He is going to have us in the next year (as you know we have had plans to move, but for some reason they kept getting postponed… God is sovereign).
