IBM Makes OS/2 Death Official

Ho-hum. One of my favorite operating systems seems to be officially dead now. IBM has a web page that shows how to migrate your OS/2 apps to LINUX. Since IBM was the originator of OS/2, it’s only fitting that they would have such a page to usher in another attempt of taking Microsoft down.

So, if you have some OS/2 apps that need to work on a currently operating system, hit their site and do the migration and wipe the tears from your cheek as you shutdown OS/2 for the last time.
