Last night I was making some of my famous guacamole. The ingredients are simple, if you’d like to try it: Avocado, mayonnaise, garlic salt, Valentina Salsa Picante, and some Salsa Habanera. Mix it all up and presto, yummy gauc! Well, while mixing it all up last night, some flicked into my left eye. Out of all the things to get in my eye, it was the Habanera! Dude, my eye was on fire! Thankfully I was right next to the sink and was able to flush my eye quickly.

After cleaning all the hot substance out of my eye, my eye still lingered in pain and Liz said it was pretty red. After initially checking on me, she just carried on with her conversation with her sister on the phone like all was well. I told her that maybe if I milked it bit more like our children that I would have had a better chance for more sympathy. She just laughed and told me I was alright. Hey, I almost lost an eye!

Anyway, if you make this gauc, where protective eye wear. It may save your life!
