Looks like the liberal biased San Francisco Chronicle has been caught red-handed lying. Stating they had a picture of a student protesting the Iraq war in San Francisco, it was actually a rally for the Communist party! Wow, how funny is that?! Of course the Chronicle is now backing off their original work of fiction, but that won’t stop all the people who believe their tales to be gospel from reading it.
Read the entire story — true story — from Anatomy of a Photograph‘s site. But we warned, when they show you the entire photograph, some things in it aren’t pretty and are not for children’s viewing. Hey, it’s all about peace, right?!

Um . . . the only thing the Chronicle’s picture and the one zombietime posted have in common is the subject. I go into detail here.

Thanks for the heads up, catastrophile. My wife pointed out that the knot in the headband was different in the two pictures, too. But what I don’t understand is why did the Chronicle back off of their caption, then?

I don’t understand why they handled it the way they did . . . the readers’ representative told me he was kicking himself for not asking for the uncropped image to show that it wasn’t the same scene that zombietime captured, but the whole picture still hasn’t been posted.

Odd. You’d think with all the bloggers online ready to dig into poor reporting, like me, that they’d be quick to correct all of us uninformed punks.
