You know, about five years ago, a large company like Sony could have got away with pushing their evil-technology on us without little harm to them and there would have been nothing we could have done about it. But after Sony unleashed it’s rootkit CD protection scheme on all of us, it only took a week of a flurry of web postings for them to throw in the towel and pull a kamikaze on XCP. Sony says they’ll no longer be putting that nasty protection on new BMG CD’s from here on out. Nope, not at least until they can get a newer and harder to detect version.
