I travel many web sites daily in search for news, information, and the latest in technology (mmm, see a tag line in there?
) for you the faithful reader. Organizing my finds have always been an issue and at the end of the day, it seems like I have a junk drawer more then a portfolio of clippings. Well thanks to Om Malik, I have found my little helper on the web, Clipmarks.
This ingenious software add-on works with Firefox and Internet Explorer. When you find a piece or section or even just a picture you wish to save for later reference, you simply click the Clipmarks icon on the toolbar and then make your selection. With some information entered after the selection has been made to help properly file the clipping, you’ll be well on your way to creating a library like reference that is easy to find your previous clippings from.
I had intentions of using this for my research but the sites demo points out you can use this for shopping, too. I think that’s a great idea and will surly help the many people out there with their Christmas lists. Oh wait, mmm, okay, birthday lists.
Take a look, do the install and enjoy. Don’t worry, this is a cross platform solution (with Firefox) and works on Windows, OS X, and Linux. I told you, this was an ingenious piece of software.

What can i say but thank you! It’s net every day that something you work on is called ingenius. I wish we were as happy with it as you are because then maybe we could stop arguing about how to make it better
In all seriousness, thanks for the kind words…and keep an eye out next week for a few pretty substantial upgrades to the software and web site.
