Whatcha’ gonna do?

You know, technology ain’t always a good thing for us.  The Los Angeles Police Department can’t really beat speeders like they use to, so now they just want to get on to more fun things like hang at Krispy Kreme. (Come on, watchin’ the doughnuts be made is darn cool!) So to insure they don’t waste a whole lot of time with punks whom like to show off their Porsche Carera S down there in la-la land, the LAPD will now start using the Pocket PC to move things along.  With a quick swipe of your California drivers license in the same Pocket PC that Apple Stores use, the police officer will be able to bring up your information and cite you for your infraction right their with his stylus.  Over will he or she bring you the Symbol device for you to sign and before you rush off.  They’ll be sure to give you a copy of the ticket via the wireless printer sitting in the cruiser.

Yup, it’s all going to save time, errors, and money for the largest city on the West Coast and will be sure to make many speeding celebrities get back on their way to insure they can get back to that grueling life of theirs. I love technology.
