TiVo likes spying on documenting its users and what they replay the most. In years past, commercials have received the highest hits of that little replay button on the TiVo remote but this year, it was Ben, Antwan, and Hines that received the most replays.

With the “gadget play” that sealed the Super Bowl win for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 4 million TiVo subscribers just couldn’t get enough of the spectacular play and viewed it many times over. “On average, TiVo households watched more than four times the controversial touchdown by Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the “Gadget Play” touchdown that clinched the Steelers victory,” so says TiVo in a press release. “In fact, TiVo households found themselves reaching for the remote many times throughout the game, the analysis shows. TiVo households hit replay, pause or rewind buttons on their remote an average of about 100 times during the Super Bowl broadcast, the analysis shows.”

From what I understand, the commercials weren’t even worth a slot in late night TV as most were really bad. Me? My brother used his HD-DVR to skip ‘em all. :)
