In the business of a SvenOnTech day, your fearless leader attempted to close his car door quick enough to prevent any more of the pouring Central California rain from entering into his leather upholstered interior. Whelp, it seems like in the quick dash for that very leather seat, the lumbar pinched the quick release on one belt clip flinging a very expensive XV6700 out the door. As all of this his happening, the door was in progress of sealing the car interior from the wet Seattle-like weather and was stopped in mid-swing by the very XV6700. Ugh!
The PDA smartphone we just reviewed on SvenOnTech was retrieved from the wet ground and brought back into the car and returned to the safe warm and dry interior. Thankfully our important call was never dropped during the entire ordeal. Then Sven pulled the XV6700 from the case and — “Aaaah!” — it was cracked everywhere!
Fortunately, Sven practices what he preaches and backs up nightly. Second “score” for Sven was there was a Verizon Wireless store in the shopping center he was at and within 30 minutes, he was back in business.
