In classic Microsoft fashion, its next operating system, Windows Vista, will be delayed a few months from its last publically announced release date of late 2006 and will now be “released” in 2007. Maybe, huh? Truth is, that’s entire year now, so we figure it’s got to be real of a date as any now!
VNUnet put it this way:
Microsoft co-president Jim Allchin in a conference call said that the company decided to push back the release date of the consumer version of the operating system because computer manufacturers required more time to test and prepare their systems.
