Co-founder of Apple Computer, Steve Wozniak, has come home! Announced today on Apple’s 30th anniversary, Wozniak (the Other Steve) told a room of crowded reporters from Apple HQ in Cupertino, California that he was excited to be back. “With the closing of my last business, WoZ, I now have the ability to come back and continue the wonderful innovation happening here at Apple. I am really energized and ready to move forward.” In classic Woz style, he amused the reporters with his large variety of laser pointers he has collected in the past year.

Steve Jobs was elated to bring back his old friend into the company they both found together in 1976. “Today is as exciting as the day we brought the Apple II to the West Coast Computer Faire and signed 水島敏雄 as our first Japaneses authorized Apple dealer,” Jobs told a still stunned crowd. He continued,”Nothing more could be better and exciting for Apple today.”

After the announcement, the two took photos together for the media and then Woz received a phone call. He pulled out his new iPhone and the crowd went nuts. Jobs then retrieved from his pocket a very thin device and “snapped” a picture of Woz on the iPhone…with the new iPad, the PDA with built-in camera. In a dizzy of the chaos, finally someone from the crowd shouted, “April fools!”
