Hey, looks like Blackberry users have been on to something as a new study by RONIN Corporation found, “more than 70% of mobile professionals expect mobile email to ‘liberate’ them.” Noting that most professionals stated that they would be more productive if they had the ability to check their e-mail while out of the office, Visto took hold of the study and used it for its mouth piece.
“Smarter companies are waking up to the notion that mobile email must address the needs and expectations of all users, not just those of the highest executives,” said Brian Bogosian, Visto’s chairman, president and CEO. “Until now, no one has asked the most important question: what does the other 97% of the professional workforce expect from mobile email? Visto is the only company that has taken the extra step to determine a mobile professional’s requirements and to put into place an organizational-wide initiative designed to address these needs. ”
Like other companies that offer a similar push-mail offering, Visto wants to take a hold of the new office that’s out of the office and capture some business for itself. With studies like this to arm it, Visto, as well as its competitors, may just become the next great service provider in our electronic lifestyle.
