If you’re looking to keep on the various games happening in the various cities in Germany for World Cup 2006, you have many options. Google’s got a pretty good Cup page as does the other portals. But if you want to keep it local, then check out the FIFA World Cup 2006 Schedule widget. It puts all the games in one easy to read list and allows for filtering so you can quickly find when your favorite team is playing. This filter alone is a huge help this early in the Cup as I was able to quickly see that USA plays Ghana tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. (local time). Sweet.
If you’re looking for scores, you can try World Cup Live Scores though I have nothing displayed on my widget now. Maybe it really does mean “live” since no game is playing right now. Hopefully it’ll work later tonight.
Okay, there’s a quickie for you World Cup fans. Go USA!!
