Although we're not in the boonies, we must be in one of those "nooks" where reception isn't great. To make a call, I'd have to step out onto the balcony, and even then, the calls would drop out or drop completely. Since I've had this booster thing, the dropouts are very minimal and reception is greatly improved. I was skeptical, especially of the "rare earth" part. but it really works!
