Got a podcast and need to interview someone over the ‘net? Not that technical? Don’t really want to use some expensive alternatives available for your Mac? Then look no further than Ecamm Network’s Call Recorder. A tiny little app that just pops up when you need it in Skype and either automatically records a call or waits for you to click the record button. Call Recorder will gracefully put a full recording of your Skype conversation into QuickTime MOV format neatly onto your hard drive. And speaking of movie, if you’re thinking into the future and are wondering if Skype Video will be supported, the answer from Ecamm Network is yes…when Skype is gold in its release.
So if you’re just looking to record your Skype calls for business, pleasure, or podcasitng, this $13 purchase may be the luckiest thing you’ve done for your Mac in some time. (Psst, it also records voicemail messages.)

Have you found it possible to record conference calls via Skype? I would love to use Call Recorder if I could do so. I have had need to record conference calls quite often but have found Skype will not allow me to log into the calls. Apparently VOIP protocol does not mesh properly with calling conference call numbers. At least not the one I have to use. Has anyone found this to be true and is there a workaround?

Ecamm Network has confirmed with SvenOnTech that Call Recorder indeed records conference calls, “just fine.”
Enjoy!
