SplashData has brought Christmas to Windows Mobile users a bit early this year. With the release of SplashShopper, the ultimate list manager, for the Pocket PC and Smartphone, Windows Mobile users will now get to enjoy the same powerful list utility that PalmOS users have been for years.

When this gadget user had his Palm, I was thrilled with SplashShopper and couldn’t go to the grocery store without it. It organized my list by the aisle of the store and, if I were so frugal, would help me note the price of each item, too. Having kids makes the need to have more hands than two, so if you are forced to use both for your shopping list, you can insure a difficult time at the store. Thankfully, SplashShopper allows you to get through your list single-handedly. Literally. :) You can imagine how dismayed I was when I went back to the Windows platform that I would have to leave SplashShopper behind. But no more!

“We are delighted to respond to the thousands of customers who have requested a Windows Mobile version of SplashShopper,” said Morgan Slain, CEO of SplashData. “And now Windows Mobile users have access to the leading mobile productivity suite, SplashWallet. SplashWallet is the best value in mobile software, giving you the ability to manage all of your passwords, photos and lists for one low price.”

Download the trial version of SplashShopper and SplashWallet (while you’re at it) today and enjoy the refreshing dip!

I used both SplashId and SplashShopper with my Palm T3 and I was very happy with the applications.

Now my company changed to PPC and I tested the Win Mobile versions for the PPC.

First: Unfortunately both applications do not allow to beam/copy the data onto the other device without going over the desktop version.

And second: They do not yet deal with German chars.

The good thing is that I got a quick answer from their support, but still I don’t know how long the update will take.

So far I can’t use this nice software with my new device and I’m afraid, that if it takes too long I will look around for another solution.
