Even Steve likes looking up at those words. Yup, SvenOnTech will be reporting live from Keynote tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. If all goes well (we get out badge, get into the Moscone in time, and have either a Wi-Fi or EV-DO signal), you’ll be able to catch the updates as Steve pronounces them. So keep an eye here and refresh the post ‘Live from Keynote 2007″ and you’ll be good to go!
Our predictions? Okay, here it is in print and we can’t back down from it now…
- NO iPhone
- Airport Extreme MAX (or whatever — 802.11n Draft 1.0 wireless)
- MacBook and MacBook Pros announced with 802.11n upgrades (date TBD)
- iTV (with 802.11n)
- iLife 07 (with new added component — like last years iWeb and GarageBand before that)
- Leopard (with release date)
- Slew of iPod news including Alpine’s iDA-X001 with its iPod like look-n-feel

I’m an optimistic one:
• iPhone revealed
• 802.11n Airport (will work with current MacBooks and MacBook Pros with firmware upgrade)
• no new notebooks
• 8-core (dual quads) MacPro released
• iTV demo’d/released
• iLife 07
• Leopard released early
• something iPod related
• new displays with iSight built-in
I’m eating up the hype, I know.

You’re killin’ me, Sven … where’d your scoop go? Was it so boring that you checked out? Was it so amazing that you PASSED out? Was it too much foot-in-mouth when Steve intro’d the iPhone?
(hey, at least you’ve got the iTV right so far)

Mark, where do I call this a scoop? Do you read what I write? I also go the 802.11n right, too.
No foot in the mouth. I, like others, can get some predictions wrong. I guess your perfect, so I’m looking forward to hear your future predictions. But I will say this, while everyone last year didn’t even mention a PowerBook upgrade, I was the only one stating (a month before Macworld 06) that there would be an upgrade to the Intel chip. I got the name wrong, but not the prediction. But since you like to childishly mock people, you won’t take the time to review the archives and see that I do get some big stuff right from time to time.

LOL! Chill, Sven! Twas all tongue-in-cheek, no harm intended. Like I said, you called the Apple TV, and I haven’t really even read any other sites to get the full update; I was just going off the info you had in your running comments. So for all I knew, maybe the other stuff was there too but just wasn’t as publicized.
When I commented, I was ACTUALLY just wondering why we lost you right in the middle of your updates. I love your commentary, but your post disappeared from your site and I had to go find someone else with play-by-play until you came back.

hehe. Sorry, Mark. After the Shaun King thread, I guess I’m a bit touchy.
I really, really, thought Apple would announce this via a “One More Thing” kind of announcement. I did know it would be a smartphone with iTunes on it all in a full-screen format, but that’s easy to say now.
Anyway, thanks for the post. As to me going south for a while there, the EVDO network got over ran for a minute there but I came back only after suffering a 15 minute outage. Maybe everyone will be using the slower EDGE network from their iPhone next year and I’ll have EVDO Rev. A (over three times faster than EDGE) and this won’t happen again.

Thanks!
