Spb Mobile Shell has introduced the new generation Pocket PC interface, combining the latest hottest features while keeping all the advantages of a Windows Mobile device. Unlike the Today screen on most Smartphones (like the Treo 700) and PDAs, Spb takes all of the today screen features, or the most important ones, and puts them all on a single screen. Photo speed dial, weather forecasts, smart contact search, and all your other plug-ins will all be readily available on the start page, called the Now Screen. This screen will appear every time you start your device and all you need is a quick glance to keep yourself updated. Check email with a single tap, see system status, check out the time and weather, and if you need to do any particular task, just hit the Spb Menu soft key.
The Spb Menu is designed in particular for single handed use. This is a great, fast way to navigate easily and quickly through your controls and setting, organizer, programs, multimedia, internet, and messaging. It’s easy, lightning fast (average response time is 80ms) and it looks great too with Windows Vista style icons and animation.
The submenus are just as awesome. The contacts submenu provides one of the fastest and easiest ways to find contact information. With buttons large enough for finger tapping, this will greatly simplify your search. You also have the ability to pin the icons you want to the Now Screen for easy access with the tap of your stylus, or finger since this software is designed with single handed use in mind.
The Spb software is truly the next generation Pocket PC interface that is a vast improvement on the old programs by adding essential features all on the start screen so you don’t have to navigate for 5 minutes (sometimes while driving, though not recommended) to find the application you need.
