Sprint’s exclusive offering of the Treo 700wx has ran out and now competitor Verizon Wireless offers the same Windows Mobile-based smartphone to its customers. With built-in support for dial-up networking, that’s about all the separates the difference between this phone and the 700w is Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 with Direct Push Technology. No Rev. A for the EV-DO and no other major improvements to write home about. Still, a good phone.
We’ll be putting up our review of the Treo 700w up within the day. So keep your eyes peeled for that and see if the Treo 700w/wx will be worth the big price tag.
