TV? For Me? Sweet.

You know, it’s a shame the some of the best, classic TV shows, such as the Dick Van Dyke, aren’t broad-casted on the air anymore. Even if they are, you have to have cable TV if you want to watch them which is a bummer for those of us who may not have cable. Well, for those of you who want to see some cool TV shows but maybe don’t have access to a TV when they are on, or are one of the few Americans without cable, you should check out a great new website that is providing many full-length TV shows, all for free! Now seriously, who could say no to that?

The site, www.TV4u.com, is the place where you can watch some of your favorite, classic television shows, all for free. All you need is a computer and a high speed internet connection. TV4u is split up into several different categories, including action, comedy, western, history, drama, and even classic commercials. The site has a huge variety of classic TV show, many of which you won’t be able to see, unless they are on DVD. For you sports fanatics, a sports category can also be selected. This category includes football, basketball, arm wrestling, boxing (whether beating the crud out of someone is a sport or not, I don’t know), soccer, and even some sports commentary shows.

There aren’t really any big drawbacks to watching these shows on the site, other than having a very small screen (it’s only about 6 square inches), and you have to watch a boring infomercial about Medicare or some other random thing before you get to the actual show. However, we here at SvenOnTech have heard that the owners of the site are working on a membership plan which will include a larger viewing screen and better control. Stay tuned!
