When I first found the 2-finger scroll effect on my MacBook Pro, I couldn’t stop telling people about. I’d often brag, “Ya, it’s so sweet and you won’t find this on a PC,” when I told anyone that was willing to listen.
Unfortunately, this slick trick is for the new kid on the block and my older TiBook is left out in the PC cold. That is until iScroll2. The latest version, 0.27, gives any older Mac laptop (2003 aluminum PowerBook or iBook G4 to run) running Mac OS X 10.3.8 or later the very same ability to get that killer 2-finger scroll effect as the MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops have. The free download will make any older Mac happy for sure.
According to the author, my TiBook is not supported.
The reason, complete lack of 2 finger detection in the older trackpad. Oh well, at least some other people will still at least benefit from this sweet freeware.
