The iPhones implementation of web surfing through Safari is amazing. There isn’t a site that is iPhone compliant (read: no Flash or Java) that hasn’t displayed itself much like its big brother on the Mac shows the site as for me in the two weeks I’ve owned my iPhone. But, going to graphic heavy sites on even Wi-Fi can be slow. Amazon is one such very site and man, forget about it if you have to hit up AT&T’s EDGE network to check on a product. Thankfully there’s the moose. TeleMoose.
TeleMoose lets you browse all of Amazon’s product with a no thrills eye candy layout. Instead, you get the very simple and fast becoming standard iPhone layout on this website. If you are looking for a specific product, then search it and up comes just as simple results list. Click on your match and specific information on the product is displayed quickly.
TeleMoose puts its interface on Amazon the entire way up to the purchase. Once you click that “Buy” icon, you’ll be whisked to the familar Amazon shopping cart interface. Since the cart is light on the graphics, you won’t have to worry for long delays before you have finalized your transaction! All thanks to TeleMoose.

FYI, Telemoose has been shutdown at the request of amazon.com. Go figure.
