<description>If you want a REAL alarm system, you need to get one that operates off Alarm.com's revolutionary *FROM THE GROUND UP*, tightly integrated new technology. No alarm system technology I'm aware of even comes close to matching what this company has done, and I've researched the residential alarm industry rather extensively. Go to Alarm.com and check out their demo. You will be shocked at the capability. And, it uses entirely GSM WIRELESS (cell) reporting to the Central Station (if a system's doesn't employ wireless reporting, I wouldn't even consider using it except in unique situations).

Perhaps **most differentiating of all** (among the wireless plays) is that when an Alarm.com security system is armed, as soon as any sensor is breached (you walk in the door, for instance), the system immediately sends an "alarm pending" signal out to Alarm.com. So, EVEN THOUGH THE ALARM IS NOT YET IN ALARM STATE, it reports to Alarm.com to EXPECT a disarm code, and if not received, initiate a response. So an intruder has all of about 5 seconds to disable your unit (alarm state or not) before it's too late. **Almost ALL other systems** give the criminal at least about 40-45 seconds, many even a minute or more. I don't know about you, but I think 40-45 seconds is plenty of time to find and disable and/or destroy the majority of residential alarm systems out there.

Let me just say before going further: I am ONLY a very happy customer of Frontpoint Security (which uses Alarm.com services), and feel so strongly about the company, how they treat their customers, and their product offerings, that I want to get the word out about this unique and special company. I am not being compensated in any way to post this review by either FrontPoint Security OR Alarm.com.

Continuing... Alarm.com does not offer their service direct any longer, so you must go through a dealer. I did extensive research before purchasing my system almost 2 months ago, and could not find a better overall value than FrontPoint Security Solutions (www.frontpointsecurity.com). They offer SIMPLY AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, efficiency, and professionalism. They also offer service nearly nationwide (only a couple states outstanding now, soon to include those states also from what they tell me). They configure the system, and send it to you with easy installation instructions (and phone support available). All sensors are mounted using the included strong double-sided tape. Many professional installs use similar mounting. They use non-proprietary and professional GE equipment, which must all be priced at nearly cost, because you can't find much cheaper prices anywhere (use Google Shopping, I challenge you). And, they offer contract periods as short as 1 year (QUITE RARE). Frontpoint also offers the *HIGHEST LEVEL* of Alarm.com's residential service offering.

This is TRUE security folks, not the illusion of it that the majority of residential systems provide. I challenge you to find a better VALUE for your money than what FrontPoint Security offers. I'm highly skeptical that it can be done. You owe it to yourself to check out www.Alarm.com and www.FrontpointSecurity.com and if it looks interesting, please give Frontpoint a call. I am CONFIDENT you will not be sorry you did. Ask for Peter, Chris, Philip or Aaron. I have spoken with them all and they are all GREAT guys.
