Get ready for some really sweet earbuds for your iPod, baby. V-MODA sent SvenOnTech some sweet Red Roxx, probably the earbuds of choice for Sammy Hagar, and dude, were we impressed. I mean we really liked these puppies.

No more cruddy Apple earbuds or those descent Phillips ones we’ve been using for months. Nope, now we’ve got some really good things to stuff into our ears and enjoy the tunes coming from our 80 GB iPod 5.5G unit. Now, if you need the dets, then slap yourself over to the review and get ‘em!

We’ve been playing with the Ojo PVP-900, or Shadow, for the past three months and dude, we’re impressed. We’ve got to admit, we thought this was just another Skype client kinda thing slapped into a stand-alone unit but it really isn’t. It’s a great, and we mean great, videophone that is as easy as Ojo says it is. We even made a grandma (Nana) test the set-up out and she passed with flying colors! Give the review a read and maybe pick one up yourself.

REVIEW: SageTV Media Center v6.1

If you have the older Windows version on your computer (XP and earlier,) and you desire to do some TV recording, then you may want to check out our review on SageTV version 6.1. We played with 6.x for a good month and then dove into the beta for 6.1. We found this beta more stable than some gold code out there! Overall, we loved the features and just how many tuner cards you could pack into this bad boy. Heck, I don’t think we ever had this thing crash on us once!

REVIEW: Treo 700w

We gave Alex a Treo for a fortnight and he came back all happy and bush tailed with glee. He liked it, though it did have some quirks. Some of the very same ones Steve Jobs spoke of during the iPhone introduction. Mmm, Steve may have been on to something. :) Anyway, if you’re looking at getting a Treo or a smartphone that will push real e-mail to you (not silly Yahoo! Mail like the iPhone will do,) then this review is for you.

If you’re looking to purchase a new thumb drive, then take a look at our review of the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium 2 GB thumb drive. It’s our first review of all five stars. In the end, it performed like no other and we were really impressed with it and the small form factor. It fits in your pocket just nice and works like a charm.

REVIEW: Accordance Bible Software

After playing with Accordance for a few months, the verdict is in. It’s sweet. If you need a good — no — great Bible study aid, ain’t nothing going to touch this. It’s that good. While it has its share of deficiencies, they are minor and heavily overshadowed by the brilliance of the rest of the program. As we state in the review, it may be reason enough to turn PC users into switchers for sure!

Take a look at the review and then take a look at Oaktree’s site. You’ll be amazed at the power you’ve been missing in God’s Word!

I’ve never really kept track of my diet or exercise in the past, and I really didn’t see the need to. Calories? Body Mass Index? Who cares, right? Well, I came across a program called CalorieKing. I installed the software on my Palm and I was quite amazed at what I discovered.

CalorieKing keeps a day by day record of how many calories I ate each day, how many I should be eating, and how much exercise I needed to maintain a consistent healthy lifestyle. Since I’m a very mobile person, I installed the King on my Palm, but versions are also available for Windows, Mac, and Pocket PC so no matter what your lifestyle, you can chose what’s best for you. I’m sure glad I gave CalorieKing a look-see. Check out the review and see in more detail how the King can help you maintain a healthy diet.

We really loved playing with it for the last six weeks and we’re sure that you will love playing with it, too. Oops, did we just give it all away? No, not quite. Now go read!

When Logitech sent SvenOnTech its latest portable speaker system, I figured it was just going to be another cheap sounding speaker that you wouldn’t catch me with in public. When I put in the four AA batteries and pulled the cord from the back of the unit and plugged it into my iPod, boy was I surprised! I kept looking and touching the thin single speaker “grill” to confirm that the 1.25 inch thick speaker was really producing the sound I was hearing. It was and man was I impressed.

Tom was impressed too and read what he thought of Logitech’s mm28 portable speaker system.
