Motorola and Apple teamed up to bring the iTunes to your phone via the ROKR last year. Unfortunately, Apple didn’t seem willing enough to really give you the full experience and Motorola’s button layout and access to the iTunes software was less than desirable to use. No worries music fan, you can still get that iTunes feeling on your Motorola…or any other smartphone for that matter with SimpleTunes!

Visual IT has masterfully replicated the iTunes menu (or should we say Creative’s menu?) and even added some soft buttons that pretty much give the iPod experience as well. Coupled together, one can easily navigate one-handed much like the real iPod itself. The only thing it will not due that iTunes will is play AAC files. Protected or not. It’s just a plain Jane MP3 player.

We found those that have tried it like it. With the ability to fast forward or rewind within a song (something you can’t do with Windows Media Player that comes with all Windows Mobile smartphones,) and the ability to easily play music form an external card, the $20 may fit just right in some budgets. Give it a try for free for three days and see if it fits your smartphone.

The iGo store is letting everyone know that it’s got your tip for your Moto Q. Simply plug in the tip into your Q and the other side plugs into one of iGo’s many products that will power you up from the car, plane, or wall outlet of a hotel. Having used iGo products for over three years now, SvenOnTech just can’t get enough of its tips! We don’t know how long the Q lasts, but if you’re in a bind and need to charge her up on the road, this is the way to go!

The World Cup is just around the corner and while the Yanks call it soccer, the rest of the world seems to better understand which main body part being used in this action packed game. If you’re one of the millions of world wide fans and you have to keep up with all the stats and have all the background information possible in your handheld, Resco’s got something for you.

World Cup Mobile 2006 will feature, “rich historical information, team rosters, portraits of famous players, information about tournament cities/locations, match calendar, statistics.” The online features include, “World Cup News from an Authorized Provider, Results, Cards and Goals Statistics, and Match Reports”. The charts, bios, pictures, and everything else about this program is just presented beautifully in typical Resco fashion.

Resco wants to make sure as many people get this program as they can, so it has made it available in all sorts of operating system flavors which include Windows XP/2000, Windows Smartphone, Palm OS, and Symbian (Series 60).

Since this is a European sport, for the most part, you’ll have to pony up about 15 EUROs. I’m sure Pocketland will accomadate USD. Enjoy the games, go Germany, and goooooooooooal!
